Borcsa has 15 years’ experience as a lawyer and barrister. Her career has ranged from prosecuting high-profile criminal cases to conducting complex, multimillion-dollar commercial trials. She has also worked as a law academic at Griffith Law School and was Chief Legal Officer for a tech start-up, drafting and implementing their entire suite of legal documents. Now she helps independent film producers with contracts, intellectual property and rights, with a focus on making Australian legal documents accessible and practical for indie creators.
She is also a screenwriter and actor, and her screenplay Guilty received a Special Mention at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards in 2025, her film For The Record ranked in the Top 20 drama screenplays on Coverfly, and her project Betty placed in the Top 10% of all screenplays on the platform.
